MEC’s high pressure fogging systems use water at 1000psi to control the dust in sawmills. The water is atomized to 2 to 10 micron sized droplets, allowing the system to control dust with a very small amount of water. Dust is suppressed by the mist adhering to the dust without creating additional mess to clean up. The reduction of airborne particles is significant.
